The JP Canine Costume Parade is one of JP's premier events, with over 1000 in attendance at the red carpet. The parade is always covered by JP News and the Jamaica Plain Gazette, and has even had coverage in the Boston Globe.
Registration for the dog parade is $10 and starts at 12noon at First Baptist Church. The parade begins at 1pm and progresses down Centre and South Street to the Loring Greenough House. There, the costumed pooches will walk the red carpet and compete for best costume prizes.
